LUTZ Genussbrennerei

In the picturesque village called Windheim between the valley of the Saale & Rhön we operate our family business consisiting of agriculture and our distillery.

The origin of the farm took place at the beginning of the 16th century. However, it was probably founded sooner, which unfortunately can not be proved in writing.
The existence of our distilling rights and thus a distillery in the yard is proven around the year 1750.

We run a shop for direct marketing from the farm - visit us - it would be a great pleasure!

Furthermore, we perform tastings, which can be booked individually by appointment.
