Scapegrace

Scapegrace Gin comes to us all the way from New Zealand, featuring a selection of 12 botanicals (juniper, coriander, nutmeg, cardamom, lemon peel, orange peel, orris, cinnamon, cassia, angelica, clove and liquorice) and presented in a bottle inspired by an antique genever bottle. "Scapegrace" is another name for a rogue or scoundrel, in case you were wondering. Water, torn from the earth 80 years after it was hurled down on New Zealand's Southern Alps. A whisky still, 19th century, stumbled upon in a long abandoned shed. This is how Scapegrace signs its name around the globe. Displays pronounced aromatics, a fine balance and a surprisingly long finish. Juniper, orange peel and deep spice dominate. Vibrant in the mouth, smooth but crisp on the palate.
